Polonia of Long Island, Inc. od 2005 roku prowadzi intensywny kurs przygotowujący uczniów klas 10. i 11. do egzaminów SAT – kluczowego elementu rekrutacji na amerykańskie uczelnie. Zajęcia odbywają się w siedzibie PSFCU w Copiague, NY, a prowadzą je doświadczeni nauczyciele z Platinum Preparation Educational Services.
Kurs trwa od grudnia do końca kwietnia, obejmując łącznie 48 godzin nauki (zwykle w trybie weekendowym lub popołudniowym), co pozwala młodzieży w pełni przygotować się do egzaminu. Dotychczas kurs ukończyło 150 uczniów, z których wielu dostało się później na prestiżowe uniwersytety, takie jak Harvard, Princeton czy Cornell.
Program zakłada nie tylko pogłębianie wiedzy w zakresie języka angielskiego i matematyki, ale również rozwijanie umiejętności logicznego myślenia, czytania ze zrozumieniem oraz skutecznego rozwiązywania testów. Wsparcie doświadczonych instruktorów pomaga młodym ludziom skutecznie podnieść swoje wyniki punktowe i spełnić marzenia o studiach na renomowanych uczelniach.
SAT Preparation
Since 2005, Polonia of Long Island, Inc. has offered an intensive course designed to help 10th- and 11th-grade students prepare for the SAT—a critical component of college admissions in the United States. Classes are held at the PSFCU branch in Copiague, NY, and are led by experienced instructors from Platinum Preparation Educational Services.
Running from December through April, the program totals 48 hours of instruction (usually on weekends or afternoons), providing students with a thorough foundation for the exam. To date, 150 students have completed the course, many of whom were later admitted to prestigious universities such as Harvard, Princeton, and Cornell.
The course deepens students’ knowledge of English and mathematics and develops logical thinking, reading comprehension, and effective test-taking strategies. With the guidance of experienced instructors, participants can significantly improve their scores and pursue their dream of studying at top universities.
